The initial situation
The Lake Zurich Education Centre offers a wide range of training and further education courses at two locations on Lake Zurich. As part of a completely new campaign by the advertising agency Transformer, the website was completely revamped and we were called in for the technical realisation.
Goals and vision
The navigation posed a particular challenge. Over 100 courses had to be organised into a logical structure and be accessible via touch and mouse gestures on both desktop and smartphone. In addition, the loading speed of the site, an important criterion in SEO, had to stand out clearly from the competition.
The project
The flood of information was organised logically and intuitively with multi-level navigation. To ensure that performance does not suffer from the use of images, we used a lazy loading process in addition to responsive images. This means that images are only downloaded when they appear on the screen.
